Built to a high standard as described by my LAME with the aircraft presenting as new.
NZCAA airworthiness and maintenance program requirements up to date with run sheets available.
Though the base helicopter is a 162F there has been a number of system upgrades to the later model Talon, including the main drive system, instruments, electric water pump, 65 amp alternator and more.
The engine has had the cylinder upgrade kit installed.

The aircraft has a Heli Pod which is simple to fit/remove enables carriage of camping/fishing/hunting gear or extra fuel. With the pod fitted the aircraft is capable of carrying two people, full fuel and an additional 37kg of gear in the pod subject ambient performance requirements.

Rotorway aren’t currently manufacturing aircraft, but support and parts are available from RobinWayLLC and several other suppliers from the USA. Normal scheduled maintenance items are available in NZ.
We have enjoyed this aircraft and it has been a great way to access the outdoors in particular fishing for us. I have flown it between the North and South Islands, but we are now considering a larger helicopter. The aircraft will be sold with an inventory of spares including a set of main rotor blades, ground handling wheels covers etc. Though a small helicopter it does accommodation a 6-foot pilot wearing a helmet
This aircraft requires a minimum of a NZCAA Private Pilot License (PPL) and associated medical. It is not a microlight aircraft.
