This machine is presented by a private vendor in New Zealand.
Selling due to personal circumstances.
Of the 20 aircraft I’ve owned or flown (including other RV's), whilst not the fastest this is the sweetest handling.
No where in NZ is too far away. Raglan for Breakfast, Nelson for Lunch, Wanaka for dinner, then back to Tauranga the next day this handles distance easily.
Flies happily from 70 knots to 150. My mate is 6 foot 2, 93 kg’s and comfortably occupies the back seat (which has limited controls and instruments - including ASI).
$35k (approx) engine work done at 800 hours (due to lack of use)
Fixed Pitch Prop
Mostly conventional instruments (reliable) but also has added a Ping system for external aircraft detection, and a Garmin GPS.
Secured fire extinguisher under the panel.
Rear controls are stick and rudder, and ASI. Also has an inop RPM in the back.
